What You'll Do:
Extract and manage vaccine information from Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Schedule and track pending lab work, immunizations, and referrals.
Assist with Telehealth registration and triage, ensuring seamless virtual patient experiences.
Provide patient education and support related to referrals and pre-certification authorizations.
Accurately schedule patients with internal providers and manage EHR task boxes.
Contribute to care gap closure projects to improve patient outcomes.
Provide backup coverage for patient-centered representatives as needed.
Operate the paging/telephone system as required.
Greet and assist patients, visitors, and representatives with professionalism and care.
Attend mandatory staff development training and meetings.
Ensure accurate and timely updates of patient demographic information.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
What You'll Need:
High school diploma (or GED equivalent).
At least one year of experience working in a medical setting.
Ability to type at least 60 words per minute.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact compassionately and effectively with patients and colleagues.
Ability to make independent decisions and work collaboratively.
Bilingual skills are a plus but not required.
