Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SEO Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our comprehensive SEO strategy, encompassing traditional search engines and emerging AI-powered search platforms. This role requires expertise in both conventional SEO best practices and cutting-edge LLM-based search optimization to improve our online presence and support our growth objectives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop and implement effective SEO strategies across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms, including optimization for LLM-generated search responses and featured snippets

  • Conduct thorough keyword research and semantic analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization, focusing on both traditional search intent and natural language queries used in AI search

  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation and marketing materials.

  • Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics or SEMrush and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in both traditional SEO and AI search technologies, including LLM updates and changes in how AI platforms source and present information

  • Manage and optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headers, and structured data, to enhance search engine crawling and indexing.

  • Lead link-building initiatives to improve domain authority and search rankings.

  • Work closely with the web development team to ensure the website is optimized for search engines and user experience.

  • Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, challenges, and opportunities to stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with demonstrated knowledge of AI and LLM-based search optimization

  • Strong understanding of both traditional search algorithms and AI-powered search systems

  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and web analytics.

  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Creative thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.

  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website technologies is a plus.

PERKS

  • Be part of an energetic team that is serious about delivering software to customers and cultivating our culture. We work awfully hard and are having a blast doing it. This team believes that what we are doing is a game-changer in the industry

  • Coffee bar with cold brew on tap and a full time barista

  • Standing desk (if you’re into that sort of thing)

  • Corporate events including food trucks, Top Golf and other shenanigans

  • Corporate office with co-working spaces, ping-pong tables, corn-hole boards, and Avalon around the corner

  • Benefits package including health care, paid time off, life insurance, 401k plan (with match), and gym reimbursement

  • Be part of a team recognized 4 years running as an AJC Top Workplace!
