Appearance Product Installer 

Location: Houston, TX

Shift: Mon-Sat; 5:00 AM- 3:30 P.M

We are seeking a detail-oriented, safety-conscious Appearance Product Installer I to join our team. In this role, you will install accessories on Toyota vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship and strict adherence to company and safety standards. The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent, timely, and predictable attendance
• Safely operate and drive Toyota vehicles in various weather conditions, day and night
• Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area
• Meet or exceed productivity and quality installation standards
• Use the Pick-to-Light system and computers to retrieve accessories accurately
• Prepare vehicles for installation of accessories ranging from basic to mid-level complexity
• Follow approved installation procedures and proper use of tools and equipment
• Maintain shop tools, equipment, and protect consumer data in line with company policies
• Scan barcodes to document completed installations and update inventory records
• Inspect work for quality assurance and correct any defects
• Park vehicles according to Toyota Motor Sales (TMS) Audit Criteria
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2–3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience
• Strong mechanical skills and working knowledge of safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret job instructions and Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and professional-level driving ability
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed
• Familiarity with TMS Audit Criteria and accessory shop productivity standards preferred

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, and climb
• Must be able to frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and night vision
• Must be able to work in environments with loud noise, fumes, and airborne particles

Work Environment

• Exposure to outdoor elements such as wet and humid conditions
• Routine contact with moving mechanical parts, toxic chemicals, and other hazardous materials

Certificates and Licenses

• Valid driver’s license required
• High School Diploma
